Our Mission

The South Carolina Guardian ad Litem Program recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who are court-appointed to represent and advocate for the best interests of children in family court proceedings involving allegations of abuse or neglect.

Our Goal

It is our vision to provide a volunteer advocate for every child who is the subject of an abuse and neglect proceeding in South Carolina.

One Hundred Years From Now
It will not matter
What kind of car I drove
What kind of house I lived in
How much I had in my bank account
Nor what my clothes looked like
But the world may be a little better
Because I was important in the
Life of a Child!
