Course Description:
This training will highlight the foundation and philosophies of the women’s movement and more directly explore the history of sexual assault and domestic violence, in respect to the turmoil it can cause. New advocates will be given the opportunity to learn about the progress South Carolina has made thus far, in addition to the mission for the future. These trainings also serve as an excellent networking tool, as advocates from all across the state come together to lean and explore. The trainings have also been designed to meet specific requirements of the Crime Victims’ Ombudsman, Office of Victim Services Education and Certification.
